How do I watch films and series on PR1DE+?
PR1DE+ is available on the web, on iOS and Android phones and tablets, and on supported TVs (Android TV and Samsung Smart TV). Log in with an active PR1DE+ account and subscription to access the catalogue of LGBTQI+ films, series, documentaries, shorts, originals and news, and press play.
In which countries is PR1DE+ available?
PR1DE+ is currently available in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. Each country has its own catalogue and prices, because film rights are licensed per country.

How much does PR1DE+ cost?
PR1DE+ offers flexible subscription options with unlimited access to our growing collection of LGBTQI+ films, series, documentaries and originals. Prices include VAT.

Is there a free trial?
New subscribers can try PR1DE+ free for the trial period shown at checkout. You add a payment method when you start the trial, and a small verification charge is made and refunded straight away. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription continues at the plan price. One trial per person.
Are rental films included in my subscription, or do I need to rent them separately?
If you have an active monthly, quarterly or annual PR1DE+ subscription, all available films, series, documentaries and other content are included and can be watched without any additional rental fees.
For viewers who do not wish to subscribe, selected titles are also available as individual rentals. If you plan to watch more than a few titles, a subscription usually offers the best value and unlimited access to the full PR1DE+ catalogue.
Can I pay for individual films instead of subscribing?
Yes. A selection of titles is available to rent individually. Once rented, you can watch the title as many times as you like during the 48-hour rental period, which starts when your payment is confirmed. If you plan to watch multiple films or series, a PR1DE+ subscription offers better value.
How can I pay for a PR1DE+ subscription or film rental?
On the website you can pay with credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). In the Netherlands you can also pay with iDEAL. Subscriptions renew automatically using the payment method you provided. Subscriptions and rentals are bought on the website; in the PR1DE+ apps you simply log in with your account.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your renewable subscription at any time without additional fees. Go to My account and choose Cancel subscription. Access remains active until the end of the paid billing period and does not renew afterwards.
Will I get an invoice?
Yes. A receipt is emailed to you after every payment, and your payment history is available under My account.
Watching and devices
Which devices are supported?
PR1DE+ is available in any modern web browser, on iOS and Android phones and tablets, on Android TV and on Samsung Smart TVs. An active PR1DE+ subscription or rental is required to watch.
Can I watch PR1DE+ when I travel abroad?
PR1DE+ is licensed per country. Your account and subscription work in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands, but the catalogue you see follows the country you are in, because the rights to a title are often granted for one country only. Outside these two countries, playback is not available. Using a VPN to change your location is not supported.
Do all films and series include subtitles in multiple languages?
Not always. In addition to the default subtitle language, some films and series offer subtitles in additional languages. Available subtitle options vary by title and depend on the materials provided by our content partners. We continuously work to expand subtitle availability, but additional languages cannot be guaranteed for every title.
What do the age ratings mean?
Every title carries an age rating and, where relevant, content warnings. In the Netherlands we show the Kijkwijzer classification. In the United Kingdom we show our own maturity rating with content warnings. Parents and guardians are responsible for what minors in their care watch.
A film does not play, or playback keeps stopping. What should I do?
Playback problems are usually related to internet connectivity. Make sure you have a stable, sufficiently fast connection, then try again. If the problem persists: reload the page or restart the app, check that your browser or app is up to date, disable browser extensions that block scripts, and try another network (for example mobile data instead of Wi-Fi). If none of that helps, email support@pr1deplus.com with the title, your device and what you see on screen.
Why are films and series removed from PR1DE+?
PR1DE+ regularly adds new films and series to keep the service fresh and exciting. At the same time, some titles are removed from the platform. This is usually due to content licensing agreements: the rights to stream a film or series are often granted for a limited period, and when these rights expire we may no longer make the title available.
Whenever possible, we work to renew licences and bring back popular content, but this is not always possible. We continuously add new LGBTQI+ films, series, documentaries and originals so there is always something new to discover.
Privacy and account
Can I use PR1DE+ anonymously or discreetly?
We understand that privacy and discretion are important to many members of the LGBTQI+ community. PR1DE+ is a queer-owned and operated platform with more than 25 years of experience serving LGBTQI+ audiences through films, series and community-focused media.
Other users cannot see your account details, viewing history or personal information. Your display name does not have to be your real name, and only your display name is shown next to your ratings and comments. You can change your display name and privacy settings at any time under My account. We are committed to ensuring that everyone can enjoy LGBTQI+ stories safely, privately and on their own terms.
I forgot my password
Use the "Forgot your password?" link on the login page. We email you a one-time link to set a new password. The link works once and expires after 24 hours.
How do I delete my account and personal data?
Log in and go to My account, then Settings. At the bottom of the page you will find Cancel account. We send you an email to confirm. Account deletion is permanent and removes your profile, watchlist, ratings and comments; an active subscription is cancelled. Payment records are kept for as long as tax law requires, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Content and filmmakers
Can I suggest films, series, documentaries, shows or short films for PR1DE+?
Yes! We welcome suggestions from our community. If there is a title you would like to see on PR1DE+, email support@pr1deplus.com and share your recommendation.
Can I submit my queer film, series, documentary, show or short film to PR1DE+?
Yes! We work with more than 200 independent queer filmmakers and are always looking for new LGBTQI+ stories. If you would like us to consider your title, email support@pr1deplus.com with information about your project and a screener link.
Community and discovery
Can I write reviews and rate content?
Yes. Subscribers can rate every film, series and documentary and leave a comment under it. Your rating helps other members decide what to watch, and the comments under a title are the place to share your thoughts with the community. You can report a comment that breaks our rules, and block members whose comments you do not want to see.
Can I create a watchlist?
Absolutely. Use the watchlist button on any title to save it for later, and mark titles you love as favourites. Your watchlist and favourites are available under My account on every device you are logged in on.
How can I discover new LGBTQI+ content?
PR1DE+ combines expert curation with community feedback. Browse the curated collections and genres on the home page, explore new arrivals and titles that are about to leave, read ratings and comments from other members, and check the news section for what is coming. Titles you watched partway are waiting for you under Continue watching.
How does PR1DE+ support independent filmmakers?
PR1DE+ works with hundreds of LGBTQI+ filmmakers, producers and distributors to bring authentic queer stories to audiences worldwide. In addition to providing a platform for LGBTQI+ content, a portion of our net revenues is shared with filmmakers and rights holders. By watching, renting, reviewing and sharing content on PR1DE+, you are directly helping creators continue to develop and produce new queer stories.
